T S Vishwanath
Vishwanath works closely with the Departments and agencies of the Government of India and certain large reputed corporates in the areas of Trade & Economic Policy Research, Market Access and Policy Advocacy. He has been the Principal Adviser of ASL, a law firm specializing in the area of Trade Remedies and Trade Agreements, for the last 10 years. From 1999 to 2009, Vishwanath was part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) where he was the head of The International and Trade Policy Divisions and worked closely with industry on issues related to Economic and Trade Policy.
Before joining CII, he was an Economic Journalist for around 12 years with leading Economic Dailies in India that included The Economic Times, The Financial Express and The Hindu BusinessLine. He held two posts of Deputy Trade Editor and Editorial Head of The Ahmedabad Edition as Assistant Resident Editor of The Economic Times prior to moving to CII.
During his career span of close to three decades, with leading global pharmaceutical companies and a reputed healthcare organisation, Krishnan has gained significant experience in building and managing the Company’s Global Reputation, developing and implementing robust communication strategy and credible internal and external outreach programs; Media Strategy; Crisis Management; Employee Engagement Programmes; Organisation Integration Planning & Execution, CSR Programmes; Event Management. Over the years he has built credible and strong relationship with the Media and other Key External Stakeholders.
Senior Account Director
With experience in the field of Advocacy, Communication and Public Relations, she has been closely involved with various communication mandates that ranged from simple media relations to complex advocacy using media and other important stakeholders, think tanks for creating a favorable environment for clients. She has worked extensively on Pharma & Healthcare policy gathering, liaisoning with various government departments, stakeholder engagement/ meetings both at centre and state level.
A Postgraduate in Economics from Delhi School of Economics, her core responsibility includes strategy, ideation, planning and ensuring effective and smooth delivery. She has experience in handling diverse projects for Healthcare, Pharma, FMCG, Cement, Law, Biotechnology provided her with the edge to responsibly develop and execute end-to-end communication programmes for companies. She has undertaken strategic advocacy campaign-building for Social Sector Clients, International NGOs, Patient Support Groups, Medical Communities et Al. She has lead campaigns for Abbott India, Nestle, GSK, Sanofi Genzyme, Bloomberg Philanthropies, WHO, Public HFI etal and successfully conceptualised multi-stakeholders expert roundtables on Thyroid, Dengue, Immunization, Rare Disease and Chronic Kidney Disease.
Senior Regulatory Director
Deepak specialises in Government communication, stakeholder networking/meetings, intelligence gathering and advocacy engagements. He works closely with government departments/ ministries like NITI Aayog, MoHFW, MoF, MoC, WCD, DoP, DPITT, DoA, MoFPI, DoT, MoHUA, MoEFCC, MoC&I, MoRT&H; regulators like BIS, FSSAI, CDSCO; stakeholders like ICMR, NDMC; industry bodies, and individual companies etc.
He works closely with clients to provide inputs to the government on various issues related free trade agreements. He prepares monthly newsletters and updates on select sectors. He has worked on the project on content development of “Indian Trade Portal” managed by Federation of Indian Export Organization (FIEO) collating import regulations, across all product groups, of 53 top export destinations of India. He has done Master of Business Administration (Finance & Banking).
